NWZAW (April 20–24) is an annual spring campaign that marks the start of construction season and reminds drivers to stay alert and slow down in highway work zones. Every driver plays a role in keeping workers and themselves safe.

Do your part: slow down, stay focused, and move over when approaching work zones.

This week, we're recognizing the people who answer the call, literally.

It's National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week, and we wanted to take a moment to honor the 9-1-1 dispatchers and telecommunicators who are often the first point of contact in an emergency. They don't get to look away. They stay on the line, stay calm, and guide people through some of the worst moments of their lives.

At E-Environmental Solutions, we work alongside first responders during hazmat incidents, chemical spills, and environmental emergencies. And every single time, it starts with a telecommunicator picking up that phone and getting the right people moving in the right direction.

You don't always see them at the scene, but make no mistake, they're the reason help arrives.

To every dispatcher, call-taker, and telecommunicator out there: we see you, and we don't take what you do for granted. Not this week, not any week.
