In the third quarter of 2025, The Hospice Promise Foundation provided 158 grants to hospice patients and families in need. These grants included assistance with funeral expenses (113), utility payments (14), personal needs (9), food assistance (9), rent payments 8 and emergency repairs (5). We are so incredibly thankful to all of the donors and the hospice agencies that support the foundation by holding community fundraising events! YOU ARE OUR HOSPICE HEROES!!

At Patient Care Hospice, we understand that making the first call to hospice can feel overwhelming and scary. We want to comfort you by assuring that this first call is just a step toward support, not a commitment. During the call, compassionate representatives will listen carefully to your needs, answer any questions, and help you understand the options available for your loved one’s care. The purpose is to provide clarity, guidance, and reassurance as you consider hospice care.
Hospice eligibility typically involves a life expectancy of six months or less with a focus on comfort care rather than curative treatment, but even if eligibility is unclear at first, hospice staff can explain signs and supports that may be right for the moment. Hospice care is centered on honoring the patient’s goals of care and providing comprehensive support for both the patient and family, including medical, emotional, and spiritual services. From the first conversation onward, hospice is committed to being available and responsive to your needs, helping ensure the best quality of life during this difficult time
