If you’re exhausted from trying harder…
Please read this.

If your body feels different, there is usually a physiological reason.

Hormone shifts, insulin resistance, stress, and muscle loss change how your body responds to food and exercise.

You deserve answers, not self-blame.

Our methods are physician-directed and rooted in data.

In your 20s and early 30s, you could add more cardio and see results.
But after 40, your physiology changes.
Estrogen shifts.
Muscle mass naturally declines.
Insulin sensitivity can decrease.
Recovery slows.

Excessive cardio without strength training can actually accelerate muscle loss, which may slow your metabolism over time.

After 40, your strategy has to shift:
✔ Prioritize strength training
✔ Support protein intake
✔ Protect recovery and sleep
✔ Address hormone and metabolic health

Perimenopause and menopause are not the same but both can change how your body feels, functions, and responds to diet and exercise.

Perimenopause is the transition phase. Hormones fluctuate, which can cause mood changes, sleep disruption, weight gain, and irregular cycles.

Menopause begins after 12 months without a period. Hormone levels stabilize, but at lower levels, which impacts metabolism, muscle mass, bone density, and more.

If you’re over 35 and feel “different,” there is usually a physiological reason.

We’ve been taught that weight loss is just “calories in vs. calories out.”

But your metabolism is regulated by hormones like:
• Insulin
• Thyroid hormones
• Cortisol
• Estrogen & progesterone

These hormones determine:
– How efficiently you burn energy
– Whether you store fat or build muscle
– How hungry you feel
– How many calories your body actually uses at rest

If insulin is elevated, fat storage increases.
If thyroid function is low, metabolic rate slows.
If cortisol is chronically high, your body holds onto energy.

That means two women eating the same number of calories can have very different outcomes!
This is why simply “eating less” often stops working, especially after 35.

If your body feels different… you’re not imagining it.

You may notice:
• Weight accumulating in new places
• More fatigue
• Poorer sleep
• Increased cravings
• Workouts that don’t “work” anymore

After 35, shifts in estrogen, progesterone, insulin sensitivity, cortisol, and muscle mass begin to change how your body responds to food, stress, and exercise.
The strategies that worked at 25 often stop working at 40.
And that doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means your physiology has changed and your approach needs to change with it.

If you’re doing “everything right” but not seeing results…
It may not be about effort.
It may be about your metabolism.

Hormone shifts, insulin resistance, thyroid imbalance, stress, and muscle loss can all change how your body responds to diet and exercise, especially after 35.

If your body feels different, it’s time for real answers.

After 35, women naturally begin to lose muscle mass.
Less muscle = slower metabolism, reduced insulin sensitivity, and greater fat storage.

When you strength train consistently, you:
• Improve insulin sensitivity
• Support healthy cortisol balance
• Preserve lean muscle
• Boost metabolic rate
• Support long-term hormone regulation

Muscle is one of the most powerful tools we have for healthy aging and hormone support.

At Nutriamed, we integrate strength, nutrition, and physician-directed metabolic care to support sustainable results, not quick fixes.

Your metabolic health plays a major role in how you feel every day. When your metabolism is balanced, your body can efficiently convert nutrients into energy, support mental clarity, and help regulate mood.

Imbalances in metabolic function can contribute to fatigue, brain fog, and changes in emotional wellbeing.

Understanding factors like blood sugar regulation, hormone balance, and nutrient status is key to long-term health.

Nutriamed focuses on identifying root causes and using evidence-based strategies to support energy, sharpen focus, and improve overall wellbeing because feeling your best starts from within.

Hormones act as messengers in the body, influencing metabolism, energy, mood, sleep, and inflammation.

When they’re out of balance, symptoms often show up long before lab results do. Nutriamed takes a whole-body, evidence-based approach to hormone health, looking beyond one number to understand how the entire system is functioning.

Nutrition isn’t just about calories or willpower. It’s biochemistry, hormones, and how your body actually functions day to day.

Dr. Bursheh explains how targeted nutrition supports metabolic health, stabilizes blood sugar, and fuels long-term wellness. Evidence-based nutrition can improve energy, body composition, cardiovascular markers, and overall quality of life when it’s personalized and rooted in science.

This is nutrition used as a clinical tool, not a trend.

The scale only tells part of the story.

It can’t measure muscle, metabolic health, hormone balance, or how your body is truly changing.

Real progress shows up in strength, body composition, energy, and long-term health markers, not just a number.

This approach focuses on the full picture of health, using physician-guided care to support sustainable, meaningful change over time.
Because true health is about more than weight. It’s about building strength, resilience, and quality of life.
