𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮 𝗼𝗳 𝟯: Last week we talked about a common myth, and today we're diving deeper in Part 2!

"I had surgery, so I can't see a chiropractor." We hear this a lot, but it's not the case. There are many safe and effective ways to help you feel better, even after surgery.

Techniques like doctor-assisted stretching help loosen up the hips and back, while flexion distraction tables provide a gentle stretch to the ligaments, taking pressure off the spine without any sharp movements. Our goal is to improve the quality and flexibility of the tissues around the surgical area to support your long-term healing.

Just because you've had surgery doesn't mean your journey to feeling great is over.

Just the team trying to see who still has hops left 🤣

Nothing serious — just a quick break between patients.

Funny how this turned into an actual challenge.

Sciatica flaring up? These simple stretches target the piriformis, hips, and lower back to help ease nerve tension and improve mobility.

Do them slowly, breathe through each one, and listen to your body.

You know those sore, tight spots in your muscles that just won't go away? We call them "𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘴", but what does that mean?

Think of a muscle not as one single thing, but as millions of tiny fibers working together. A knot is just a small collection of those fibers that have become tight and restricted, often from repetitive use. They bunch up in one spot, and that's the tender point you feel.

It's a simple explanation for a very common issue. Have you ever had a stubborn knot you just couldn't get rid of?

Ever wonder how some people bounce back from stubborn pain so quickly? 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁.

This treatment is a game-changer for breaking down scar tissue, boosting blood flow, and speeding up your body's natural healing process. It’s one of the fastest ways we help patients get relief, especially for those dealing with chronic knee pain or muscle tightness that just won’t quit.

Many of our patients feel a difference after just a few sessions. If you have pain that's been lingering for too long, this could be the solution you need.

Let's talk about the rotator cuff. This group of four muscles is crucial for shoulder stability, but one of them gets injured more than the others.

The supraspinatus is the most commonly torn rotator cuff muscle. Why? It runs through a very narrow space in the shoulder. Poor posture or certain movements, especially overhead, can cause it to get pinched or "impinged."

Over time, this can lead to fraying and eventually a tear.
Understanding how these muscles work is key to preventing shoulder injuries.

Back pain from the gym or long hours at your desk? These are some of the most common causes of nagging back pain—and they can seriously get in the way of your day if you are not doing something about it.

𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙬𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙮 is designed to target these exact issues. It breaks up tight muscles, releases stubborn tension, and helps you move freely again.

Don’t let back pain hold you back. Book your appointment today and find out how good relief can feel.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝟯: Had back surgery? You might have been told chiropractic care is off the table. Dr. Rick is here to set the record straight.

It's a common myth, but the truth is, we can absolutely help. Post-surgery care is crucial, and we specialize in it. We focus on areas around the surgical site to improve overall function.

This often involves working on hip mobility through doctor-assisted stretching and active release techniques, since tight hips are common after back surgery. We also use specialized methods like the Graston Technique to break up scar tissue, making the area more flexible and reducing pain.

Stay tuned for part two, where we’ll dive deeper into treatment strategies and recovery tips!
