As Black History Month comes to a close, we reflect on the powerful achievements and contributions of Black professionals in Behavioral Healthcare. At Greenbranch Recovery, we are especially grateful for the dedication and commitment our Call Center Representative Sheena Shanks brings to our team.

Sheena Shanks is a dedicated and compassionate professional with over ten years of experience in the field. She has served as a Discharge Planner, where she developed strong expertise in care coordination, client advocacy, and successful transitions of care. Known for her ability to meet people where they are, Sheena consistently ensures clients are supported with both efficiency and empathy. She believes deeply in treating every individual with dignity and respect and values the relationships she has built with both past and current clients.

Sheena is recognized for her professionalism, problem-solving skills. Outside of her professional accomplishments, she is excitedly preparing to welcome her first grandson, a new chapter that reflects the same love and dedication she brings to her work every day.

The article featured Sean Riggin, a retired chief of the Pleasantville PD and a former member of Mainland PBA Local 77, with Matt Hartman, a former captain in Pleasantville. Both discussed their desire to overcome the stigma and create an outpatient program.

Due to the upcoming snow, Greenbranch will be remote Monday and Tuesday. We will have Zoom as well from 9:30 to 12:30 and 5pm to 8pm on both days. The lab will also be closed both days. We hope that everyone stays safe. For any questions, please reach out to your therapist.
