NAMI in Imperial Valley

"NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the largest grassroots mental health organization in the country. We are a NAMI Mental Health Support Group in Imperial Valley operating under NAMI San Diego and are always free and open to anyone affected by mental illness. Our mission is to 1) Support people with mental illnesses and their families by helping them find coping mechanisms for their daily struggle with brain disorders, 2 Educate people who have mental illness, their families, and the general public about mental illness with the goal of dispelling ignorance and stigma and 3) Advocate for more research and an improved system of mental health services across the nation."
