Meet Chandler McKinney, PA-C. She earned her Masters Degree as a Physician Assistant from Missouri State University in 2020 and has worked at CCMH Medical Mall Clinic since 2022. Chandler provides primary care for all ages as well as wellness visits and physicals, joint injections, medication and chronic disease management, acute illness care, and more! Raised in Lamar, MO, Chandler is happy to be practicing as an area native, giving back to her community. She is accepting new patients and walk-ins are welcome! To schedule, call us at 417-876-3333.

🎉CCMH is proud to congratulate Mariah Barnes, CPC on her promotion to Revenue Cycle Manager. 👏Mariah has been with CCMH for 3 years as a coder and manager of the health information management (HIM) department. Her new role will oversee the efficiency and accuracy of all functions of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, billing, accounts receivable, insurance verification and claims, collections, and daily cash processes.

"Mariah was chosen based on her proven track record of leading physician clinics in billing and cash collections," said Carla Gilbert, CFO/Interim CEO at CCMH. "She has demonstrated successful leadership in the HIM department, fostering a collaborative team environment that has streamlined processes and reduced delays in coding and reporting. Her leadership experience will be instrumental in improving efficiencies throughout the Revenue Cycle."

Today we're putting the spotlight on Della Booker, registration clerk at Medical Mall Clinic. Della has only been with our clinic for a few months, but she has made an impression on patients and staff alike. She also worked for CCMH in the Senior Life Solutions program for a couple of years previous to her current position. She is credited for being a Go Getter, willing to do whatever it takes to ensure patients and coworkers are well taken care of. . She says she enjoys the people she encounters on a daily basis, and that the patients and staff of the clinic have become like a family. She enjoys making their day brighter and providing a welcoming and respectful environment. We are lucky to have you Della and sincerely thank you for all you do!

Today we have the privilege of recognizing Amanda Schiereck, RN for her 25 years of dedicated service to Cedar County Memorial Hospital.

Over the years, Amanda has worn many hats - working in Med/Surg and OB, as Stroke Program Director, and has become a cornerstone of our Emergency Department, responsible for our emergency preparedness, and monitoring benchmarks for our Time Critical Diagnosis, Emergency Dept throughput... you name it.

She is a great nurse, a trusted teammate, and a steady presence for patients during some of the most critical moments of their lives. Her commitment, compassion, and professionalism have made a lasting impact not only on this facility, but on the community we serve.
