Today was our monthly meeting and luncheon with our friends from Stockton’s Amvet Post 116 who are responsible for organizing this regular event to interact and engage our military wives and veterans .After lunch everyone was invited to join in sewing pocket squares for our US Military personnel. The “youngsters” got a lesson from those seasoned in the use of a needle and thread - and our resident Ruth Leonard, a long time quilter, was the “Rock Star” of the group schooling us all in the art of sewing!! Thanks everyone for participating and a special “shout out” to the Stockton Post 116!! Such a great day!!

Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 8 at 2 a.m., so set your clocks ahead one hour before bed tonight.

Yes, we lose an hour of sleep — but we gain more daylight in the evenings!

Today, the El Dorado Springs FFA group organized a tractor parade in our parking lot, providing a delightful experience for our residents. Community Springs Healthcare Facility is a 105-bed long-term care facility located in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. CSHCF has amenities including: Private and semi-private rooms with TV and cable hook ups; memory care wing for individuals with dementia; one spa-like room with side-entry jetted tub and private showers; inpatient or outpatient physical, speech and occupational therapy; courtyard; full-service salon; dining room with individualized meal planning; family areas for spending time with loved ones; daily planned activities; laundry services; bird aviary; 24-hour security system; and Wi-Fi.
