Drive-Thru Community Meal

Drive-Thru Community Meal

On Tuesday, November 25th, our church will be offering a FREE Drive-Thru Community meal. With school being out that week, and the up-in-the-air nature of SNAP benefits, we believe that it might be difficult for some families to have enough food to eat.

We will be serving a ham/turkey/cheese hoagie sandwich with chips, baby carrots, a fruit cup, and a dessert. Additionally, we will pass out bags of snacks to help sustain kids throughout the week.

We will distribute these sack meals from the church garage in a drive-thru format beginning at 4:00 p.m. and continuing until dark or when we run out of food, whichever comes first. Persons will enter the church parking lot from Central and drive to the garage, where meals will be distributed.

A team of volunteers will be putting these meals together at 1:00 p.m. on the 25th. If you'd like to help, please let the office know and we'll get you signed up!

We know times feel uncertain right now with the government shutdown — and for many, that can bring added stress and worry. Please know that Branches is still open and here to support you, no matter what’s happening around us.

Our doors and hearts remain open for:
💛 Pregnancy testing and options education
💛 Parenting and life skills classes
💛 Material support — diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, and more
💛 Emotional and spiritual encouragement
💛 Referrals for community resources

A big thank you to Xi Gamma Theta Sorority for blessing our Augusta Center with diapers! Diapers and wipes are like gold at pregnancy centers. We are so grateful to have them as part of the roots that make up Branches!

We have some immediate needs at both our Augusta and Eldorado locations. If you feel inclined to donate, donations can be delivered or dropped off to our Eldorado location M-Th 9-3pm.
