Lorna Rodriguez-Wong was born and raised in San Francisco. She has lived on the Northern California coastside for over 36 years. Lorna offers her passion and interest in sharing therapeutic grade essential oils for overall wellness in mind, body & spirit. As the Oily Chef, she also offers her recipes for healthy foods, alternative applications for clean non-toxic living and body. She was a latch key kid who was entertained with preparing meals along with Julia Child, the original TV chef. By traveling, watching latest TV cooking channels and the scanning the internet, Lorna learned the vast array of flavors different cultures had to offer. Today, not only is it important to make food delicious but also healthy. Lorna looks for fresh quality ingredients, good substitutes and healthy choices. First and foremost, it needs to taste great. Recently, Lorna has found using essentials oils as a great option to aid with health, the mind and flavoring great food. This summer, the oils made campfire cooking, just a little easier.

Don’t miss The Coastal Repertory production of Blithe Spirit in Half Moon Bay. Just what do you think can go wrong if you bring back your dead wife during seance. This is just a hilarious comedy of so many errors. I enjoy trying to figure out what’s next. Perfect way to spend a few hours. Great show!

Just attended the compelling production of The Coastal Rep’s The Children’s Hour, last night. This was written by Lillian Hellman and was made into a movie in 1961, starring Audrey Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine. It caused quite a stir then as it does now. The Coastal Rep’s production drew you into the lives of two women who have just about reached their private school’s potential when one lie can affect everything. Don’t missed this production. Time flew by and we follow these characters with a lie that defined what people were easily accepted as truth.
