El Paso Health We are your local, non-profit health plan. Serving El Paso and Hudspeth counties. Our team of bilingual professionals is dedicated to helping our members.

El Paso Health is a Texas managed care organization that provides healthcare coverage to children, pregnant women, and adults through Medicaid and CHIP programs in El Paso and Hudspeth counties. The El Paso Health page is available to provide general health information, health-related news, events, and community resources for members. Through a new collaboration with the UTEP School of Pharmacy, El Paso Health, led by Pharmacy Director Dr. Angel Palacios, has launched a Managed Care Organization (MCO) pharmacy rotation that gives students hands-on experience in population health, medication management, and improving access to care for our community.

As part of this partnership, Dr. Palacios has also been invited to teach an MCO-focused course at UTEP, helping educate the next generation of pharmacists on the role managed care organizations play in delivering coordinated, community-centered healthcare.

Initiatives like this strengthen local partnerships, support healthcare education, and continue El Paso Health’s commitment to investing in the future of healthcare in our region. 🌟
