Moments from our recent Vet-to-Vet Café at Solstice Retirement Community in Las Cruces, NM, where we had the privilege of listening and learning from the powerful stories of Veteran heroes in our community.💙

We host these gatherings as part of the We Honor Veterans program, an initiative by NHPCO and the VA that guides hospice providers in delivering the highest standard of care to those who served. As a Level 4 partner in NM & Level 5 partner in TX, our commitment extends beyond our patients, honoring and supporting Veterans throughout our community. 🇺🇸

Since joining Tender Care in 2020, Andres Mendoza has been a steady source of comfort, faith, and compassion for the Patients and Families we serve.

As a Spiritual Counselor (Chaplain), Andres walks alongside individuals during some of life’s most challenging moments - listening deeply, offering guidance, and creating space for peace when it’s needed most.

More recently, Andres has expanded his impact as a Bereavement Coordinator, playing a vital role within Tender Care Hospice. While his collaboration with our Hospice team is invaluable, his greatest impact is felt beyond our walls - through the lives he touches in the community and the people we are honored to serve. With empathy, patience, and genuine care, he helps families navigate loss with strength, dignity, and hope.🕊️

We are proud to have Andres as part of the Tender Care family and deeply grateful for the difference he continues to make for our people, every single day.💙
