National CRT Awareness Week is finally here! This week the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) community is joining forces to collectively foster a broader and deeper understanding of what CRT is, the individuals who use it, how it's provided, and why access to it is so incredibly important.

No matter what role CRT plays in your life, anyone can be an advocate and there are many different ways to get involved. Scroll below for some ideas to help you brainstorm or simply follow NCART on Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter to "love" and share our posts. However you decide to get involved, be sure to use with your post so we can see it and celebrate with you too.

We're looking forward to hearing and seeing the great ways people share information about CRT during this week. It is the consistent efforts of many advocates uniting together that create meaningful and lasting changes that will protect access to this unique and important technology. This year’s seventh annual HME Woman of the Year finalists are Sherry Krug, vice president of Binson’s Medical Equipment & Supplies; Dalia Morales, ATP, director of compliance, HR, and complex rehab technology at Respiratory and Medical Homecare Unlimited Inc.; Sheila Roberson, chief compliance officer of Great Elm Healthcare; and Erin Weiman, CEO and owner/operator of Nunn’s Home Medical Equipment.
“These finalists for the HME Woman of the Year exemplify innovation and forward-thinking in the industry,” said Jeremy Stolz, president of VGM & Associates and VGM Fulfillment. “Every day, these women are making a big impact on not only the patients and communities they serve, but for the entire HME industry. Each of these finalists is well-deserving of this award.”
Nearly 50 nominations were received this year. The finalists were selected using criteria that included implementing new business processes, advocating on behalf of the industry, improving the lives of patients, and impacting their community through volunteerism.

The HME Woman of the Year winner will be announced during a special virtual ceremony Dec. 15, 2022.
