CDIC El Paso A non-profit organization that opens the world to children with disabilities. We believe that parent to parent support is very important. Por eso estamos aquí.

Mision:To promote partnerships between parents, professionals, and various agencies to work together to combine resources and to find solutions to problems within the community. Established in 1989, CDIC offers workshops on parenting a child with special needs, educational rights, ARD's and IEP's, No Child Left Behind (NCLB) and many more. We offer individualized assistance to families that have children receiving special education services in the public school system and coordinate an annual symposium. That is why we are here. 📣 We are now accepting presenter proposals for Camp Ability 2026.

Camp Ability is a leadership and empowerment camp designed for youth with disabilities ages 14–26. Throughout the week, youth participate in sessions that focus on:

• Self-Advocacy
• Independent Living Skills
• Employment Readiness
• Financial Literacy
• Social Skills and Healthy Relationships
• Community Involvement
• College and Career Pathways
• Adulting Skills

If you have experience working with youth with disabilities and would like to share your knowledge, we would love to hear from you.
