Snowed In — But Still Having Fun!

When our activity team couldn’t make it in because of last week’s snow, our amazing CNAs stepped right in and brought the fun indoors, literally! They gathered fresh snow from outside so residents could make their own snowmen without braving the cold.

The residents had an absolute blast… even if their hands got a little chilly!

What a creative way to keep the joy going, no matter the weather!

Our highly requested Poker Night has officially returned for the residents — and they couldn’t be more excited!
We’ll now be hosting Poker Night once a month, and family and friends are welcome to join in on the fun. With plenty of snacks, great company, and awesome prizes, it’s always a night to look forward to!

Time for BINGO!

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 2:00 PM, you’ll find our residents gathered in the living room for one of their favorite activities — BINGO!

Family is always welcome to join the fun, and our BINGO cart is always stocked full of great prizes. It’s a wonderful way to spend time together, share some laughs, and keep the excitement going!

Senior Care Network is a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting local seniors and the nonprofits who serve them. This talented group of professionals works collaboratively to connect seniors with the care and resources they need—always placing service to others above all else. It’s truly something special to witness.
Each year, the Member of the Year award is voted on by fellow members and recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond as a resource within the group and throughout the community.

Congratulations to Claire Lantz, this year’s Member of the Year! Your dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving seniors make a lasting impact.

Staff Morale Booster Alert!

Today we’re celebrating “Absurdity Day” a fun, lighthearted excuse to be a little silly and spread some smiles! Our amazing team enjoyed a cozy coffee bar and delicious treats in the Activity Office.

What’s Cookin’, Good Lookin’?

Our residents always look forward to our Friday cooking class — “What’s Cookin’, Good Lookin’?” This past Friday, we made a classic holiday favorite: Spinach Dip!

It was the perfect way to kick off the season — full of great smells, laughter, and holiday spirit. Anyone else’s family make this around the holidays?

Here’s our recipe so you can try it, too!
Spinach Dip Recipe
1 box (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, cooked, cooled, and squeezed dry
1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 package Knorr® Vegetable Recipe Mix
1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 green onions, chopped

Mix all ingredients together and chill for 2 hours.
Serve with your favorite dippers — crackers, veggies, or bread — and share with your favorite people!

This week, we celebrated all of our residents with November birthdays, and it was such a fun time! We also want to wish a very happy birthday to our Activity Director, Tamra, and Activity Aide, Nikki, who share this special month with our residents.
