Don't be a turkey and get burned on Thanksgiving! Unattended cooking is the leading contributing factor in cooking fires and fire deaths. Thanksgiving is the peak day for cooking fires! Here are a few safety tips. ALWAYS STAND BY YOUR PAN! Use fryers outdoors, and not on a wooden deck or in a garage. Don't let the oil overflow, don't mix oil and water, watch the temperature, don't touch the hot pot and keep away from the flame.
