About Dr. Ifeoma Egbuonu

Dr. Egbuonu completed an endocrinology fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She is board certified in Endocrinology and completed her residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. She has chosen east El Paso as her new home and appreciates the opportunity to serve patients. Dr. Egbuonu has a desire to help prevent diabetes based on her personal family experience of losing her aunt to the destructive disease. She has also chosen to offer transgender medicine because of the lack of available care in the region. As an endocrinologist and diabetes doctor, Dr. Egbuonu believes in staying up-to-date with the latest forms of treatment.
