🍗 Always thaw turkey in the fridge, never on the counter.
🌡️ Cook thoroughly and use a food thermometer before serving. Turkey should reach 165°F in the thickest part.
🥗 Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
🚫 When in doubt, throw it out!
If you suspect food poisoning or someone isn’t feeling well after eating, call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222. We’re here 24/7 for fast, free, and confidential help, even on holidays.

Smoking remains one of the leading causes of lung cancer, and can be a poisoning risk for kids. The best way to protect your health and your family is to quit.
Kids are naturally curious, and even one cigarette or a cigarette butt can be dangerous if swallowed. Ni****ne poisoning in children can cause nausea or vomiting, a fast heart rate, tremors or weakness, and, in severe cases, trouble breathing or seizures.
Follow these tips to keep your kids safe:
✅ Store ci******es and ashtrays up high and out of reach of children.
✅ Empty ashtrays and dispose of cigarette butts safely.
✅ Talk with children about the dangers of ni****ne and why it’s harmful.
