Helmet fit matters — here’s the quick check before every ride.

A helmet should fit snugly all around the head with no space between the interior foam and the head. It should not rock side to side or slide forward/back when buckled.

Try the 2–V–2 fit check:

- Two fingers: The front edge sits one to two finger widths above the eyebrows.
- V shape: Side straps form a “V” under the ears.
- Two fingers: Chin strap is snug — only one to two fingers fit between chin and strap.

If you think someone may have a serious head injury, call 911 or go to the nearest ER. Find an emergency center location near you: https://bit.ly/4uT4qvr
