At Del Sol Medical Center, expectant mothers have access to comprehensive maternity care every step of the way—including cesarean delivery when needed.

A cough can mean many things — but sometimes, it’s your body’s way of signaling something more serious. A persistent cough that lasts longer than eight weeks, changes over time, or produces blood could be an early symptom of lung cancer.

Knowing what to watch for — and when to get screened — can make all the difference.

Here are a few important reminders:
- Listen to your body: Don’t ignore a cough that lingers or worsens.
- Know your risks: Smoking, secondhand smoke, or a family history of lung cancer increase your risk.
- Get screened: Early detection through a low-dose CT scan saves lives.
- Talk to your doctor: A trusted physician can help you determine if screening is right for you.

Helmet fit matters — here’s the quick check before every ride.

A helmet should fit snugly all around the head with no space between the interior foam and the head. It should not rock side to side or slide forward/back when buckled.

Try the 2–V–2 fit check:

- Two fingers: The front edge sits one to two finger widths above the eyebrows.
- V shape: Side straps form a “V” under the ears.
- Two fingers: Chin strap is snug — only one to two fingers fit between chin and strap.

If you think someone may have a serious head injury, call 911 or go to the nearest ER. Find an emergency center location near you: https://bit.ly/4uT4qvr
