The RotaCare Clinic of El Paso is open and continuing our mission to provide compassionate, free medical care to those in need.

We are currently seeking volunteer physicians to join us on Saturdays, working alongside our dedicated volunteer students. It’s a meaningful opportunity to mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals while making a direct impact in the lives of uninsured patients in our community.

Saturday we had the honor of celebrating the renaming of our clinic in recognition of Dr. Richard McCallum, whose dedication, compassion, and lifelong service have transformed healthcare access for countless patients in our community.

Dr. McCallum’s leadership has shaped RotaCare into a place where dignity, hope, and quality care are provided to those who need it most. This ceremony was not only a tribute to his incredible legacy, but also a reminder of what is possible when medicine is guided by service and heart.

We are proud to carry his name forward and continue the mission of providing equitable healthcare to our El Paso community.

Today we officially celebrated the renaming of our clinic. Moving forward, the RotaCare clinic will proudly be known as the Richard McCallum Clinic of RotaCare of El Paso 💙

This meaningful renaming honors Dr. McCallum’s extraordinary legacy of compassion, service, and unwavering dedication to caring for the underserved in our community.

We were honored to have Dr. McCallum’s family members in attendance, and we extend our sincere gratitude to them for sharing this special moment with us. Their presence made the celebration even more meaningful as we recognized the lasting impact of Dr. McCallum’s life and work.

We are deeply grateful to the members of our Board who joined us for this important occasion—your continued support and leadership make our mission possible.

A very special thank you to Dr. Pierson, who has graciously stepped into the role of Medical Director, continuing this work on behalf of Dr. McCallum’s vision and commitment to patient care.

We also thank Dr. De la Rosa for attending and sharing in this milestone with us.
