Charge your phones

Have important documents, spare clothes and shoes along with money and keys in your designated shelter

Have flashlights and extra batteries prepared

A level 4 has just been issued by the NWS. This means several, long track tornadoes are expected. Max intensity of EF-3.

Now is time to prepare. Time is a few storms after 2PM; then widespread after 6PM in north central IL.

Be weather aware tomorrow afternoon through the nighttime hours as severe weather including hail and possible tornadoes are forecasted.

⛈️Have a way to receive warnings
🌩️Know where to go for shelter, wherever you will be during the storm
⛈️Have spare batteries for flashlights and fully charged phones in case of power outages
🌩️If no basement is available, take shelter in an interior room with no windows

Thank you to Sgt Durst and Detective Mekley for coming to teach Active Shooter Incident Management to our staff and EMT-B class this evening! El Paso EMS along with Woodford County Sheriffs Department have constructed a Rescue Task Force team to train and prepare for active shooter situations. Several of our employees have attended RTF trainings and AISM classes to be prepared and trained for these events
