Personal hygiene sounds simple until it isn’t.
For many seniors, bathing and daily hygiene can become difficult because of mobility limits, balance issues, pain, fatigue, or memory changes. And trying to do it alone can be risky. The bathroom is one of the most common places for serious falls. The CDC says more than 1 in 4 older adults falls each year.
When hygiene gets harder, it can also affect comfort and health. Skin irritation, rashes, and infections can become more likely when someone cannot safely clean and dry properly.
At JMJ Home Health Care, we provide non-medical, respectful support with personal hygiene routines, including bathing help, so your loved one can stay clean, comfortable, and safe, with dignity.
