The FDA has approved updated vaccines for 2025-2026, and we have two available now:

💉 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘅 (Standard Dose, 0.5 mL)
• Updated version of Moderna’s original COVID-19 vaccine
• For ages 12+
• Out of Pocket Cost: $150

💉 𝗺𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗞𝗘 (Next-Gen Booster, Smaller Dose, 0.2 mL)
• Newer Moderna vaccine designed for a more focused immune response

Big smiles and healthy vibes yesterday at Avir Tierra Este Nursing Home! Pharmacists Abril and Sarah teamed up with technicians Norma and Tommy to protect residents with their high-dose flu shots and Prevnar for pneumonia. 💉

Keeping our community strong, one vaccine at a time! 💚💙

✅ Good news: the FDA approved the updated 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccines. We expect to receive them soon. Stay tuned for updates!

Last week we successfully partnered with UTEP School of Pharmacy's APhA-ASP student chapter to provide 22 flu vaccines and help students complete their yearly requirements. 💉

A special thank you to Lizzie, pharmacist and owner of Rio Grande Pharmacy, for guiding students through proper counseling points and supporting student vaccinators throughout the clinic.

We look forward to doing it again soon. Thank you to all those who participated!

Rio Grande Pharmacy is proud to be collaborating with the APhA-ASP student chapter at UTEP School of Pharmacy!

💉 Together, we’re offering back-to-school flu vaccines for students and staff. These vaccines are a yearly requirement, and we’re happy to support the UTEP community in meeting them.

🙌 This clinic also gives pharmacy students the chance to practice and refine their immunization skills by vaccinating their peers and faculty - training that will serve them throughout their careers.
