And sometimes you really do need that catchy content for the algorithm when you are running a business. It’s always about balance for me. I am lucky that a lot of my content is from the heart and often does well by chance with the algorithm. But when it came to doing daily readings, I knew they were tiring me out, and on reflection, I realized it was all of the editing or re-doing it takes to shorten the videos and make them catchier, quicker and easier to digest. I realized my inner perfectionist was coming out and taking some fun out of it (I’m aware some people may love this process, not me!), and taking some of the authenticity out of it, which was then taking me away from my values. In a world of algorithms, AI, and heavy media manipulation, I like to reflect often and ask myself, am I showing up in a way that’s really serving me and my community? Since my work revolves so much around authenticity and being human, this feels like a better fit, even when it goes against the trend of this space. I watched a video on YouTube the other day of someone talking for 30 minutes with no editing, she was just engaging, wise, so human, and it felt so nice and calming. I felt inspired by her. One little building block at a time, we build the world we want to see, and maybe somebody needed to see this today.

I have pulled this card for myself 5 days in a row now, as I’ve been moving through some major internal shifts and breakthrough. Will share more someday, for now I’m being called to focus a bit more on practice and growth rooted in devotion, not sharing.

I am devoting myself to fulfilling The Shadows We Cast pledges right now, so I’ll be quite here for a couple weeks. Don’t worry, I’ll be back, and there is still plenty I’ll be sharing in this space :)

We’re taught we are here to do something, but what if we’re here just to be? You don’t need to be anything other than who you are in order to be worthy of the experience of a beautiful life. You don’t need to look a certain way, have a certain job, get famous, or whatever. The closer you get to your true self, the closer you get to peace. Let go of the pressure, conditions, and stories, and allow yourself to be you. Grey hairs and all 🌺 I hope this message helps you today 🌹🦋🌿💕🪽
