Yesterday we had the honor of collaborating with The Delaware Tribe of Indians in Bartlesville to help make hand drums for the community.

We appreciate any opportunity to visit another tribe and learn more about their efforts in healing the community with culture.

Loving someone in active substance use is not easy.

You can care deeply about someone—and still need boundaries to protect your peace, safety, and energy.

💜 You didn’t cause it.
💜 You can’t control it.
💜 You can’t cure it.

But you can control how you show up.

Support looks like:
✔ Encouraging treatment
✔ Offering resources
✔ Setting clear, consistent boundaries
✔ Keeping naloxone accessible
✔ Speaking with care and respect

Enabling looks like:
✖ Covering up harmful behavior
✖ Giving money that may fuel use
✖ Taking on consequences that aren’t yours
✖ Constantly rescuing in crisis

Boundaries are not punishment—they are protection.

“If ____ happens, then I will ____.”

You deserve safety.
You deserve peace.
And you are not alone.
