Russell-Murray Hospice is a free-standing, open access, non-profit hospice serving a 75-mi radius of

Russell-Murray Hospice is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) serving a 75-mile radius of El Reno, Oklahoma. We provide end-of-life care to patients who are terminally ill with a life expectancy of 6 months or less. We proudly serve a mission to accept any patient who qualifies for hospice care, regardless of their ability to pay for services. We never bill our patients or their families if the cost of their care goes above and beyond what we are reimbursed from Medicare or private insurance.

Today, we’re thankful for the privilege of caring for our patients and their families. It’s sacred work, and we never take it lightly.

We’re thankful for our staff — the ones who show up on the hard days, answer the late-night calls, hold hands, ease fear, and bring dignity to every moment.

We’re thankful for our volunteers, our community partners, and every family that trusts us during some of life’s most vulnerable seasons.

Our team has been showing up all week for Thanksgiving Spirit Week — and they wrapped it up strong with Fuzzy Sock Friday today.

Flannels, twins, harvest colors, Thankful Thursday, and now the coziest day of all… they’ve brought the energy, the humor, and plenty of heart.

Hospice work is tough, and the people doing it show up with strength, compassion, and consistency every single day.
