Generations of Wellness – Geary

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Diabetes Wellness Program and Department of Health, in collaboration with several tribal programs, hosted Generations of Wellness in Geary. This community event brought together over 50 youth, adults, and elders to celebrate health, culture, and connection across generations. Thank you Geary community for joining us for resources, activities, and opportunities to learn about programs that support the wellbeing of our families and communities.

Together we honor our traditions, support one another, and build a healthier future for the next generation. 💚

Our next Generations of Wellness event is on Tuesday, March 17 at the Department of Health building (1950 S Shepard, El Reno) from 4-8 PM.

The El Reno Indian Health Service will be hosting a Resource Fair and Mobile Mammography Service to support women’s health in our community today.

📅 March 9
🕗 Mammograms: 8 AM – 4 PM
📍 1801 Parkview Dr., El Reno, OK

Resource tables will also be available from 10 AM – 3 PM, and participants who attend their appointment will be entered into a drawing.

✔️ Must be 40 or older
✔️ Must be a current patient of IHS Clinton Service Unit (El Reno, Clinton, or Watonga)
