Does 3D technology improve precision in direct anterior THA?

Authored by Dr. Edwin Su et al published in Journal of Arthroplasty The Hip Society & The Knee Society, the latest research on patented, proprietary technology concludes:
“Radlink, Inc. uses Artificial Intelligence to calculate anteversion and inclination of the acetabular component data over intraoperative fluoroscopic images in real time. The use of the 3D-IAT during DAA THA allowed for the more accurate prediction of acetabular component position in the standing position postoperatively.”

Radlink technology is setting the standard of care for achieving functional component positioning in THA by accounting for spinopelvic angles and dynamic pelvic motion during surgery. The technology’s ability to accurately predict leg length discrepancy, inclination, and anteversion marks a significant advancement in orthopedic surgery.
