At 473 pounds this was just a dream. I lost 175 pounds and just completed the New York City half marathon now I want you to dream big!

Running is one of the ways I am controlling my type 2 diabetes!
Down 175 pounds, off 7,000 units of insulin and doing the New York City Half Marathon and I couldn’t be more excited!

Type two diabetes and running! Let’s talk about it!
One of the best things about losing 175 pounds and getting off of 7000 units of insulin a month is the fact I get to run again!
Some people say they hate running I look at it as a privilege!
The great thing about it is that it gets you outside in the fresh air and the sunshine plus you burn a lot of glucose and get metabolic fit!
And even if you can’t run, just getting moving is a big win!
Go do something outdoors you love to do today and remember it’s a privilege!

Before the potatoes.
