Good Morning! Thanksgiving is right around the corner which can bring up anxious energy with relational dynamics, over drinking/substance use, eating disorder behavior increase and unsupportive comments by family members to name a few common problematic issues. Here are some tips to help prep for the holidays!
📝Journal the fears you are having to bring more awareness to them.
🤗Reach out to a therapist or supportive person to work through these fears and create a preparation plan.
🏠Speak up to family about what IS supportive and NOT supportive to discuss around the family. What is more of a private conversation versus making it for everyone to hear.
💪🏻Setting healthy boundaries with self around who to spend time with and what activities to do.
🥗🌮🍗🍓🥑Set intention to prioritize self care and consistency with nutrition.
🍷🍺🌱Set boundaries with substance use and how to be mindful at family gatherings, nights out with friends, by setting appropriate limits with alcohol and other substances to best support your overall health and wellness.
