2026 is already shaping up to be a pivotal legislative year for plastic surgery in California. With bill submissions closing February 20 and a new Governor taking office in 2027, now is the time to stay engaged.

✅ 3 CSPS-Supported Bills Passed for 2026:
• SB 306 (Becker) – Greater transparency in prior authorization requirements
• SB 351 (Cabaldon) – Strengthening protections against corporate interference in medicine
• AB 489 (Bonta) – Prohibits marketing AI chatbots as licensed medical professionals
