Starting our Galentine’s off with the only boy we will allow in the building today! Sweet Brodie gifted each resident and staff that are working today to a single rose to let them know that he loves them! He says, who knew that I could have 14 beautiful women as my Valentine’s! Visits with him are extra special! 💚🍃

Seven months… seven months of praying over a situation at Serenity South of Elba.

I asked the Lord to guide me on bringing more church into our building whether that looked like Sunday services, gospel singing, or simply a preacher stopping by to pray. I spoke with several people and pastors, trying to work through the details so we could make it happen.

Then last Tuesday, everything changed.

I received a call from Mrs. Charlotte Goodson, who shared that one of our sweet residents had been talking with her and Pam Jordan about starting a weekly Bible study Group.

When I tell y’all that God knew exactly what I needed in that moment …He knew.

Without hesitation, I asked what day, what time, and if we could make it weekly… and just like that, they were all in.

Yesterday was their very first meeting a meet and greet and as I listened from a distance, my heart overflowed with praise.

We currently have 14 residents, and 9 were able to attend (with even more who would have joined if they hadn’t had visitors at the time).

These ladies even named the group themselves, and I truly believe something very special is growing here.

A heartfelt thank you to Charlotte Goodson, Pam Jordan, and our precious Pam McCollough for coming together and making this possible.

They will meet every Tuesday at 2:00 PM, and we warmly invite our families to join us at any session.

My heart is so, so full and the Lord continues to bless me beyond measure in this chapter of my life. 🍃
