Many of you are aware that Dr. Navarro is no longer with All Creatures Veterinary Services, and we want to take a moment to clearly explain what this means for our clients and community.

All Creatures Veterinary Services, led by Dr. Rice, is independently owned and operated and continues to serve pets and livestock in Elbert County and the surrounding area.

Dr. Navarro is now operating her separate mobile practice, All Creatures Animal Hospital.

Because of the similarity in names and the fact that our doctors previously worked together, we understand how this may have caused confusion, and we appreciate your patience as we clarify.

To help make things simple:

All Creatures Veterinary Services = Dr. Rice and team (our clinic at 597 Elbert Street)

All Creatures Animal Hospital = Dr. Navarro’s mobile practice

While the names are similar, these are now two completely separate practices, each operating independently.

At All Creatures Veterinary Services, our commitment remains the same: providing high-quality, compassionate care for animals both large and small. We offer farm calls, in-house surgery, diagnostics, laser therapy, and more—right here with the team you know and trust.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule care with Dr. Rice and our team, please call us at 706-283-2761 or stop by the clinic.

We are grateful to be part of this community and truly appreciate your continued trust. Last but certainly not least, we again wish Dr. Navarro the very best.

April is Heartworm Awareness Month—a timely reminder that just one mosquito bite can put your pet at risk for a serious, potentially life-threatening disease. Heartworm disease often shows little to no symptoms until it has progressed, which is why prevention is so important. The good news? It’s simple, safe, and far more affordable than treatment.

Year-round prevention and routine testing are the best ways to protect your dog (and even your cat) from heartworms. If your pet isn’t currently on prevention—or if you’re not sure—our team is here to help. Give us a call at 706-283-2761 or come by our office at 597 Elbert Street to make sure your pet is protected.

We would like to help our clients out so any dog that comes in for an annual exam and gets a heartworm test we will send home with a FREE month of heartworm, flea, and tick prevention!
