Congratulations to Aoi and Steph! They both had solid PR’s at California international Marathon this past weekend just under two weeks after getting Married! Aoi came to us 2 yrs ago and wanted to go sub 3 in the marathon. This is now his 2nd PR and he’s now part of the under 3 club. They are both motivated to yet do another marathon in April Steph likely shooting for sub 3:30 and Aoi trying for low 2:50’s. Great job both of you! So much fun for us as coaches to watch athletes just stack bricks and keep raising the bar! I believe this was the last big races of the season and it means we had 8 people go sub 3 hrs this year and many marathons successfully completed and well into the double digit PR’s in 2025! Way to go Team!!! Coach Tom and Coach Candace!
