Congratulations to Aoi and Steph! They both had solid PR’s at California international Marathon this past weekend just under two weeks after getting Married! Aoi came to us 2 yrs ago and wanted to go sub 3 in the marathon. This is now his 2nd PR and he’s now part of the under 3 club. They are both motivated to yet do another marathon in April Steph likely shooting for sub 3:30 and Aoi trying for low 2:50’s. Great job both of you! So much fun for us as coaches to watch athletes just stack bricks and keep raising the bar! I believe this was the last big races of the season and it means we had 8 people go sub 3 hrs this year and many marathons successfully completed and well into the double digit PR’s in 2025! Way to go Team!!! Coach Tom and Coach Candace!

Huge shout out to John who was 2nd in the 60-69 age group! This is his 3 rd podium this spring maybe. He’s lost a bunch of wt and become much more fit and way faster on his bike! Consistency, strength training, fueling and nutrition are all some of John’s secrets!
