The Langlade County Forestry, Recreation, and Parks Department wants to hear from you. Take the Outdoor Recreation Survey to provide feedback on parks and trails maintained by Langlade County. Survey takes about 15 minutes and is available through March 29, 2026.

Information about Walking Path:

EAHP is a volunteer run organization of community members with the focus on promoting the health and safety of our community.

The walking path in Elcho was developed by EAHP through grants, donations and fund raising events. NO town taxpayer money was used to fund the trail.

The current trail is only section 1 of the plan. Design of section 2 (south of town) of the trail has already been completed with fund raising for construction currently taking place. Section 3 (continuing north from current trail) will be completed following section 2. There is always potential for the trail to be expanded on after that as well.

On December 17, 2025 the Green Bay Packers Foundation presented a $3,000 grant to Elcho Area Health Planning, Inc. towards the Elcho Area Hike and Bike Trail Project. The Foundation donated to 462 organizations and presented the checks at the Lambeau Field Atrium with dinner and program.
