Today we had the joy of crowning our 2026 King and Queen — congratulations to Larry and Elva! 👑 What a special way to celebrate love and community together.

Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming several of our state representatives who came to recognize and pin some of our residents who bravely served during the Vietnam War. They also honored two of our incredible ladies from the Rosie the Riveter era.

It was truly special to take time to recognize and celebrate these residents for their service, sacrifice, and strength.

To make the day even more memorable, the Eldon High School band joined us—playing several songs and spending time playing games with our residents. Seeing the generations connect was absolutely priceless.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this day one our residents will never forget. 🇺🇸❤️

It’s truly an honor to care for those who once spent their lives caring for others. Even if many of our residents didn’t personally take care of us, they took care of someone — a child, a family member, a friend, a community. And if given the chance, they would have taken care of us too.

Being part of their lives, hearing their stories, sharing their days, and giving them the care, dignity, and compassion they deserve is more than just a job — it’s a privilege. I’m grateful every day to walk alongside them and to give back in this season of their lives. 💙
