We were so grateful to welcome members of Kiwanis and the North Scott High School Service Club to Grand Haven Retirement Community for a special lunchtime treat!

The students and volunteers served up delicious cherry pie with whipped cream and, even better, plenty of friendly conversation and bright smiles. Our residents truly enjoyed the sweet treat and the opportunity to connect with such thoughtful young leaders in our community.

We are so grateful for the generosity of our community! 💙

Juniors from North Scott High School, Ben Clayton and Dylan Ulloa, recently built this beautiful prayer bench in their woodshop class and chose to donate it to Grand Haven Retirement Community.

Ben and Dylan are members of St. Ann’s Church in Long Grove, and this donation was completed as a service project for their 11th grade confirmation class.

The craftsmanship and care they put into this project truly show. Our residents are already enjoying this special addition, and it will be a meaningful place for reflection and prayer for years to come.
