This article explains two things: why we don't take Medicare Advantage plans and likely why United Healthcare CEO was assassinated. NPPT has had a difficult year, in large part because of insurance denials. While we do not condone violence, NPPT appreciates the heightened awareness of certain insurance companies egregious actions against providers and patients, alike.

Research suggests some may struggle to access care through Medicare Advantage insurers.

First, condolences to the family of Brian Thompson. This assassination does not surprise me. Insurance companies are putting providers out of business, which is in their interest. As many of our 65+ community may be aware, it is open enrollment time for Medicare. We would like to remind everybody that we do not take Medicare Advantage plans at NPPT. The reason? Complexity of billing. Medicare Advantage plans introduce an additional layer of insurance/scrutiny/obstruction, which means a larger portion of payments diverted towards insurance and away from the providers. Medicare Advantage plans are certainly to Medicare's advantage! We hope to see all that have need for physical therapy in 2025:) -Justin

Good Morning! As per usual, we are looking for a part-time to full-time support staff member to join us in BATTLE, against patient pain and impairments. We have been asked in the past.. why is this position available so regularly? This position has opened up because our employee is going to PTA school.

Applicant needs to have good command of the english language, computer skills, a positive attitude and a shared desire to help people. The person will be trained on the job. Eventually, you will be able to:

1. perform data entry
2. filing
3. records request
4. authorizations
5. scheduling
6. assisting patients with tasks as directed by therapists
7. communicate with patients, staff and other medical offices
8. keep work environment clean.
