At The Sheridan at Tyler Creek, the holiday season has been filled with joy, creativity, and meaningful moments shared with friends and family. Residents showcased their festive spirit during our holiday door décor contest, and we also welcomed a special guest who shared a heartwarming Christmas story, enjoyed an eggnog and cookie social, and played plenty of fun holiday games along the way.

Our veterans were honored with thoughtful Christmas stockings generously provided by the Veterans Group of Elgin, and residents were touched by gifts of lotions and ornaments from local churches. From laughter to traditions and community connections, the holidays have truly been something special. 🎄✨

Today, the Chicago office celebrated the holiday season with our monthly SLIM episode, cupcake decorating, a festive attire contest, and a hot chocolate bar. Teams also competed in a tree-decorating challenge to raise money for our HEART Fund, with the Senior Lifestyle 40th Anniversary tree taking first place.

Congratulations to our incredible team member, Angel Morrison, VP of Clinical Services, for completing the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer! Angel recently took on an inspiring challenge—walking 60 miles in 3 days in San Diego as part of this powerful event.

This cause has impacted her closely, and she walks for all those currently fighting and for the hope of a future without breast cancer. We’re so proud of you, Angel.

Brittany Coleman and Trina Anderson, our Divisional Directors of Memory Care, attended the Brain and Build Senior Housing News Conference. We were proud to have Brittany represent Senior Lifestyle as a panelist, where she discussed how personalization is a mindset — not a person — and emphasized that our greatest opportunity for the future lies in building consistency.

This conference was a powerful reminder of the incredible work being done across our industry in Memory Care — and how much opportunity there still is to grow, learn, and innovate. Brittany and Trina left inspired to keep exploring new ideas and to ensure we continue delivering the highest quality programs and most meaningful experiences for our residents.
