Thank you to one of my followers, Magda, for suggesting that I make an image that shows the tower of Babel in a modern sense with technology. Keep those ideas coming in!

This is not to suggest that using technology is wrong. All technology is morally neutral (in my opinion) and can be used for either good or evil. That includes the inventions of the printing press, electricity, the internet, social media, and even AI.

Ultimately we have a choice what to do with the technology available to us: Are we going to use it in a God-honoring way to glorify Him and encourage others? Or are we going to use to it become like gods ourselves?

My fear is that AI, quantum computing, and other breakthroughs are causing the world to think that they can reach god-status, just like in the story of Babel in Genesis 11. But using technology in that way is naive, idolatrous, and in danger of judgment. My prayer is that no matter what piece of technology is before us, we use it to glorify the Lord.

"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." (1st Corinthians 10:31)

Start Your New Year the right. Way

Ask your self these questions:
When you feel most alive in your work or service to others, what are you doing?
Describe specific moments or activities where time disappears for you.

Who are you helping?

What problem are you engaging with?

What role are you playing in that moment (teacher, organizer, guide, strategist, encourager, builder, fixer, etc.)?

2. What topics, conversations, or problems do you naturally gravitate toward—even when no one is paying you?
Think about:

What you talk about repeatedly with passion

What content you consume or create without being asked

What people already come to you for advice or encouragement about

3. If money were handled for the next 3 years, what type of work would you choose to spend your days doing—and why?
Be specific:

What does a typical day look like?

What kind of impact are you making?

What would disappoint you if you didn’t get to do it?

🌿 3. Evening release:
Pray: “Lord, I surrender today into Your hands.”

Peace grows in small, daily choices.

Being a trauma survivor is a challenging journey. Healing isn’t linear, and it’s OK to honor both the difficulty and the growth that can come with time.
