I’m excited to share a glimpse of what will be unfolding in my work after I complete my studies in Ayurveda.
This next season of learning is guiding me deeper into the ancient wisdom of caring for the body as a whole—mind, body, and spirit—through both Ayurvedic Health Counseling and Ayurvedic Bodywork.
As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, I will walk alongside clients as we explore their unique constitution and current imbalances, learning the language of the body through observation, conversation, and traditional assessments such as pulse and tongue.
From there, the work becomes a gentle returning to rhythm.
Together we will look at nourishment, digestion, and the foods that best support each individual body. We will create daily routines that restore balance, incorporate practices for rest and movement, and explore foundational herbs that support vitality. Breathwork, meditation, and simple lifestyle shifts will help calm the nervous system and create space for the body to heal in the way it was designed to.
Ayurveda is deeply rooted in prevention—learning to live in harmony with the seasons, the body, and the natural world before imbalance turns into illness.
Alongside counseling, I will also be offering traditional Ayurvedic bodywork therapies, each designed to support the body in its own unique way.
Treatments such as Abhyanga, a warm oil massage that nourishes the tissues and soothes the nervous system…
Shirodhara, where a steady stream of warm herbal oil flows across the forehead to quiet the mind and ease deep stress…
Udvartana, an invigorating herbal treatment that stimulates circulation and lymphatic flow…
Swedana, therapeutic herbal steam that encourages detoxification and opens the body’s channels…
Specialized Basti treatments for joints and areas of pain…
And Marma therapy, the gentle awakening of the body’s vital energy points.
Each therapy is rooted in the same intention:
to bring the body back into balance, restore flow, and support the body’s natural ability to heal.
This path of study is long and intentional, and I’m honored to be stepping into it. I look forward to the day when I can offer these deeply nourishing practices as part of the work I already love so much.
The journey is just beginning, and I can’t wait to share it with you. 🌿
