Due to severe weather conditions, Elgin Medical Center will be closing today at 3:00 PM to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

If you need medical care before that time, please come in as soon as possible. We will resume normal hours once conditions are safe.

If you or yours child has fever, sore throat, cough, congestion, or body aches, it can be hard to know if it’s:

• Flu A or B
• COVID-19
• RSV
• Rhinovirus (common cold)
• Strep throat

Elgin Medical Center offers testing to help determine what’s causing symptoms so the right treatment can be started.
