Friends, family, and the Ranch House Recovery alumni community (and alumni families),

Amplify Austin is here, and I’m asking you to help us show up.

Ranch House Recovery is proof that people can change and families can heal. A huge part of that transformation happens at Simple Promise Farms. The farm is where the guys learn discipline, responsibility, and purpose through meaningful work and service. It’s where confidence gets rebuilt, one day at a time.

If Ranch House or the farm has impacted you or someone you love, please consider donating today. Any amount matters. Your gift helps us keep support strong, and keep saying yes to the next person who’s ready.

Please give and share. Let’s make an impact together through Amplify Austin.

Good morning, Austin!

We’re officially in the first stretch of Amplify Austin. Every gift — no matter the size — helps us continue building a recovery-centered workforce at Simple Promise Farms.

If you’ve been meaning to give, now is the moment.

At Ranch House Recovery, we know that healing and recovery don’t happen in isolation - they happen in community, with purpose, and through meaningful work. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Simple Promise Farms.

Simple Promise Farms creates opportunities for people in recovery to reconnect with the land, learn valuable skills, and experience the dignity that comes from growing food and contributing to their community. It’s more than a farm - it’s a place where people rebuild their lives, one seed at a time.

Today we’re asking our community to join us in supporting their work during Amplify Austin. Every donation helps provide meaningful work, fresh food for the community, and a safe place for people to grow - both personally and professionally.

We were honored to match the first $1,000 raised, and now we invite you to help keep the momentum going.

If you believe in recovery, second chances, and the power of community, please consider making a gift today.

Ranch House Alumni — this is the one we talk about all year.

Big Bend has a way of puttinLucent Recovery and Wellnessrder. No noise. No distractions. Just the river, the canyon walls, and a bunch of men who’ve done real work to earn the life they’re living now.

This is our 5th Annual trip, and March 26–29 we’re heading back out with Lucent Recovery & Wellness for a weekend built for what we’re about: connection, reflection, brotherhood, and a lot of laughs along the way.

It’s a 3-day guided river trip. We’ll eat together, sleep under the stars, and get some real miles in — not to escape life, but to remember how far you’ve come and why this matters.

If you’ve been feeling stretched, isolated, or just overdue for a reset, come with us. Bring your story. Bring your willingness. You’ll leave lighter.

March 26–29

From Alumni to Mentor — Thank You, Chris 🌿
In 2020, Chris Weber came to Ranch House Recovery ready to rebuild his life. He left not only with his own healing, but with a mission to help others do the same. As an alumnus and mentor, Chris led by example — with hard work, kindness, and a deep love for nature.

Your impact will be felt here for years to come, Chris. Wishing you all the best as you begin your next chapter at Natureversity Outdoor School. You’ll always be part of our family. 💚

🌿 Healing Inside & Out: The 12 Steps Meet the Natural World 🌿

Recovery isn’t just a mental journey — it’s a biological one. When the 12 Steps are paired with eco-therapy — the practice of connecting with nature for healing — something powerful happens.

🌀 The 12 Steps guide the soul toward honesty, surrender, accountability, and spiritual connection.

🌱 Eco-therapy helps the body do the same — literally.

✅ Reduced stress hormones (like cortisol)
✅ Improved heart rate and blood pressure
✅ Strengthened immune response
✅ Improved sleep, mood, and mental clarity

Nature helps regulate the nervous system, which is often hijacked in the throes of substance use. Just being outdoors — planting, tending, walking, breathing — restores.

When someone in recovery tends a garden, walks under the trees, or feeds the animals, it’s not just therapy — it’s recalibration. The land holds space while the Steps guide the soul. Together, they create a path where deep, embodied healing can happen.

💚 We believe recovery should be rooted — in truth, in soil, in soul.

Regenerative Recovery is a holistic approach to addiction recovery that goes beyond sobriety, aiming to restore individuals, families, and communities by integrating personal healing, meaningful work, and environmental stewardship. Rooted in the belief that recovery is not just about breaking free from addiction but about rebuilding what was lost—dignity, purpose, connection—this model cultivates long-term transformation through real-world experiences, sustainable practices, and relational accountability.

At its core, Regenerative Recovery is:
• Personal – It sees each person as capable of growth, not just survival. By focusing on meaningful work, trust-based relationships, and emotional healing, individuals regenerate a sense of purpose and identity.
• Relational – It prioritizes connection over control. Trust, honesty, and shared responsibility replace rigid systems, fostering healthy attachments and stronger families.
• Environmental – It partners with the land. Through farming, stewardship, and circular systems like herb cultivation and food forests, participants learn to care for something bigger than themselves—and in doing so, heal themselves.
• Community-Driven – It shifts the focus from institutionalized care to collective support. Recovery becomes a shared endeavor, engaging volunteers, local businesses, and other nonprofits in rebuilding lives and neighborhoods.

At Simple Promise Farms and Ranch House Recovery, Regenerative Recovery shows up in the soil and the soul—where transformation is cultivated by hand, through service, routine, and relationships. It’s a living model of recovery that grows hope, not just crops. And it’s designed not only to restore what was lost, but to create something better in its place.
