The Vines Senior Homes is a completely remodeled quaint, senior home unlike any other place, a “hidden gem”, if you will. Nestled on 7 acres of wooded property, The Vines is owned and operated by registered nurses where professional care is given in a social environment. Sheltered care is for seniors who do not require skilled nursing care, but do need assistance, and/or supervision in meeting their daily needs. We are committed to offer excellent, professional care in a safe, pleasant, social environment. Having compassion for each resident combined with our intimate setting, we strive to create a home like atmosphere. We treat each individual as if they were family, promoting personal friendships while maintaining a sense of independence, dignity, and respect.

🎃 The Vines Senior Homes Halloween Hike was a huge success! 🌞 It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day, and so many families came out to enjoy the fun. We played games, handed out tons of candy, and shared lots of laughter.

Most importantly, our residents had a fantastic time — so many smiles all around! A big thank-you to Always Young for performing and entertaining us with an hour of great music, and to everyone who came out and helped make the day so special. We truly appreciate your support and kindness! 💛👻🎶

We had a very special day at The Vines Senior Homes today. We have four residents that are over 100 years old! We have a 100 year-old, 2 102-year-olds, and 107-year-old. So we decided to celebrate them! We had a jazz singer, Jacque Vale perform. We had lots of decorations and took lots of pictures. Each of our Centennials had a table with old pictures and memorabilia on it.
We invited all of Elgin‘s finest, including the Mayor, Chief of Police, lots of policemen and fireman, and more.
We had a beautiful cake and cookies the fireman and policeman helped us serve! I think a great time was had by all. More pics to follow .
