Our residents here at Elizabeth Care Center are working on a fun and magical project all about their favorite Disney characters! 🏰💫

We’re currently accepting donations to help bring these projects to life. We are looking for anything Disney-related such as:
🎀 Trinkets
🧸 Small toys or stuffed animals
🎬 Disney movies
🖼️ Pictures
✨ Or anything Disney you’d like to share!

Every little item helps add a special touch and puts a smile on our residents’ faces 💛

Today, one of our sweet residents took the time to make Easter baskets and personally give them to our Nursing Department and Dietary Department. It wasn’t just about the baskets—it was about the love, appreciation, and thought behind every single one.

Moments like this remind us that here at Elizabeth Care Center, we are more than just a facility… we are family. Our residents give back in the most beautiful ways, showing gratitude to the very people who care for them each day.

As we turn the page in our Wellness Challenge, we say a heartfelt “adiós” to Mexico—a month filled with vibrant colors, beautiful traditions, and so many wonderful memories shared together. From painting bright flowers to celebrating culture and connection, our residents truly embraced every moment. ❤️🌺

Now, we excitedly say “hallo” to Germany! 🇩🇪 We can’t wait to explore a new culture, discover traditions, and create even more meaningful experiences together in the days ahead.

A very special thank you to Tanya Collard Hentrup for sharing her beautiful vacation pictures from Germany with us. Because of you, our residents were able to travel through your eyes and feel a little closer to a place many have never been. Your kindness helped bring this journey to life in such a special way. 💛

Today was one of those beautiful reminders of what community truly means. 💛

We were so blessed to welcome student visitors from WVUP who spent their morning side by side with our residents, creating cozy blankets and even warmer memories. There’s something so special about different generations coming together—sharing smiles, stories, laughter, and a little bit of heart in every stitch.

Moments like these aren’t just activities… they’re connections. They remind our residents that they are seen, valued, and loved, and they remind all of us how powerful kindness and giving your time can be.

We are beyond grateful for community groups who choose to spend their time with us—you make a lasting difference in ways words can’t fully express.
