It is with truly heavy hearts that we share Heinen Medical Elizabeth will be permanently closing on March 31, 2026.

This decision has weighed heavily on us. Over the past few years, we have faced challenges that, despite our best efforts, we have not been able to overcome. Making this choice was not easy, but it was made with careful thought and with our patients in mind.

Serving you has been more than just providing care, it has been building relationships, sharing in life’s moments, and becoming part of this community. We have watched families grow, stood beside you in difficult times, and celebrated milestones together. Those moments are something we will carry with us always.

Please know how deeply grateful we are for your trust, your kindness, and the opportunity to care for you and your loved ones. You are, and always will be, part of the Heinen Medical family.

If you would like to continue your care with Heinen Medical, our Kinder, LA location is open and welcoming new patients, and we accept all major insurance plans. If you choose to establish care elsewhere, please call us at (318) 306-6055, and we will gladly assist in transferring your medical records to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

We want to quickly clarify a recent letter some of you may have received stating that Dr. Jade Heinen and Dr. Brian Heinen would no longer be offering primary care services as of January 25, 2025. Please don’t worry, this letter was sent in error due to an internal system issue within United Healthcare. There is no change to your care. Dr. Jade Heinen and Dr. Brian Heinen are still in-network and will continue to serve as your primary care providers.

Additionally, all of our wonderful providers at each of our four Heinen Medical locations remain here and ready to care for you and your family.

Mrs. Paula will be out of the office until December 23rd while she undergoes a procedure. During this time, telehealth appointments are available for primary care visits and medication refills.
