Last night's victory was powered by immigrant and BIPOC New Jerseyans who worked tirelessly to elect a Governor and legislative champions who will stop attacks on our communities and halt out of control cost of living increases.

MRA-NJ ran a massive door to door canvass program to engage Latino, Black and working class voters in Elizabeth, Passaic and Perth Amboy, including:

✅7,293,711 digital impressions
✅269,060 calls
✅100,000 texts
✅59,320 doors

BIG: Because of Make the Road Action New Jersey work, Passaic County leaped from Trump +3 to Sherrill + 15. Here's how we engaged tens of thousands of Latino voters to deliver this win.

We went big and we layered - between the general and the primary, our program in Passaic County included:

✅20,000 texts
✅31,000 doors
✅121,000 calls
✅500,000 digital ad impressions

We spoke to Latino voters about the issues that matter most and then we organized. In September 2025, the City of Passaic tenants won one of the strongest rent stabilization ordinances in the entire state. We listened and we delivered - together.

We organize year round - we don't swoop in for elections. We build power in our community through weekly organizing meetings, one-on-one conversations, potlucks and dance parties and spaces for joy, leadership development, and campaigns that center members as strategists.
