Dr. Bever (Dentist) and James Liebau (Marketing & Events Coordinator) recently spent time at Blennerhassett Elementary School, sharing age-appropriate education, practical tips, and dental resources to help students better understand the importance of oral health.

Visits like this are about more than teeth — they’re about building confidence, encouraging healthy routines, and investing time in the next generation. Supporting students through education and prevention is one of the ways we strengthen community health beyond our clinic walls.

What a meaningful two days in Wirt County. 💜

Our Optical Health Event in partnership with Optical Academy, brought vision screenings, full eye exams, and glasses fittings directly to students — helping ensure that vision concerns don’t become learning barriers.

A special thanks goes out to the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation for working with us to make this program a reality. Events like this take collaboration, planning and heart, and we’re grateful to partner with schools and community leaders who share the same commitment to student wellness. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success.

Colorectal cancer isn’t just a “later in life” conversation anymore. In recent years, rates have been rising among adults under 50 — which is why screening guidelines now recommend starting at age 45 for many people.
