The Wirt County Family Resources Office will be accepting applications for the annual Grandfamilies Secret Santa Program on October 29 and 30. In the last 24 hours, there has been a suspected overdose reported in Wirt County, according to law enforcement and EMS via ODMAP.
We urge anyone using illicit substances to use extreme caution. If you or someone you know is at risk, the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department (MOVHD) offers free Naloxone (Narcan) and training to help prevent overdose deaths.

This Thursday, we’ll be joining forces with partners across the region for Save a Life Day 2025—a powerful, hands-on event focused on overdose prevention, community care, and connection.
