Life Care Center of Elizabethton is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Elizabethton, Tennessee.

Our homelike nursing home makes both residents and their loved ones feel like they are part of the Life Care family. Therapists and nurses work with each patient to create an individualized care plan, just for them. We are conveniently located 4 miles from Sycamore Shoals Hospital, making us a great choice for those in need of inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation, as well as skilled nursing care. Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym and resort-like amenities make our residents and patients feel right at home.

🎄✨ Our associates had an absolute blast decorating a Christmas tree for the “Read Around the Christmas Tree” fundraiser! ✨🎄 This wonderful event benefits the Carter County Imagination Library, which provides free, high-quality books each month to children from birth to age 5 in our community. 📚

💛 While Dolly Parton founded the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and helps make books available at a discounted rate, it’s local funds and community support that make it possible for Carter County children to receive these books at no cost to their families. 💕 A special shoutout to our resident Carol, who helped add the final touches to make our tree absolutely perfect! 🎀

🌟 Our festive tree is now on display and open for bidding at August Muse in downtown Elizabethton! Bidding runs through the first week of December. Stop by to see our tree and many other beautifully decorated trees throughout downtown — and who knows, you might just find the perfect one to brighten your home this Christmas season! 🎁🎄

🇺🇸 This Veterans Day, we were extremely proud to recognize and thank our residents and employees who served in the United States Armed Forces. Jessi Hall, our Activities Director, organized a lunch celebration in honor of them.

🫡 A special thank you to Lee Langlotz, manager of Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Elizabethton, who came by to provide lunch to our veterans. Their sacrifice, courage, and dedication to our nation inspire us every day. We are beyond grateful for their service and are honored to have them as part of our facility. We would like to extend a thank you to all veterans who have served our country. ❤️🤍💙

💧 Bucket Filling Moments 💧
At Life Care Center of Elizabethton, we believe in “bucket filling” — taking time to lift others up, share kindness, and create meaningful moments that fill our hearts and remind us why we do what we do. ❤️

Today’s Bucket Filling Moment was as sweet as pie! 🥧 Our Executive Director, Brandy Grindstaff, along with Brittany Keller and Stephanie Williams, AITs, and Garrett Payne, Public Health Intern, spent the day baking Thanksgiving pies with our residents — chocolate, butterscotch, pumpkin, and apple! The halls were filled with laughter, stories, and the smell of homemade goodness. Residents shared memories of baking pies throughout their lives and offered plenty of tips and tricks to help our bakers perfect their crusts and fillings. Days like this truly fill our buckets — reminding us that joy, gratitude, and connection are the sweetest ingredients of all. 🧡

🎉👏 Congratulations to Brittany Keller! We are so proud to celebrate Brittany’s completion of her AIT (Administrator in Training) program here at Life Care Center of Elizabethton, as well as her success in passing her Nursing Home Administrator Boards! 🌟

While it’s bittersweet to see her move on, we’re thrilled to announce that Brittany will be transitioning into the Executive Director role at The Heritage Center, a Life Care facility in Morristown. 💙 Brittany has been an incredible part of our team — her dedication, compassion, and leadership have made a lasting impact on our residents and associates alike. Our Executive Director, Brandy Grindstaff, and Public Health Intern, Baileigh Day, enjoyed speaking with the CNA and Anatomy classes about careers in long-term care and the many ways we can help support their future goals. 🌟
